This ancient dichotomy represents Darkness and Light existing in complimentary opposition and contrast, which seemed somehow perfectly appropriate for two people whose design backgrounds and aesthetics differ as much as our own. On the one hand - a lover of all things black and leather, of motorbikes and coffee. On the other - a lover of prints, colour, embellishments and herbal teas. Like Yin and Yang, our differences somehow unite in harmony to result in the things which Tettmann.Doust are known for today; femininity meets androgyny, coloured signature prints juxtaposing clean neutral tones, and modern embellishments emphasising unique garment constructions.
Despite these contrasts, some things will always remain the same. The passion and curiosity we share for the natural world is our continual and infinite source of inspiration. Ideals central to our ethos too, such as collaboration, quality and ethics, are all subjects we aim to explore throughout this blog.
